Our Vets & Rosie the Riveter For This Trip

Leigh Walker

Valor's Voice captured Ms. Leigh's story in the fall of '25. She'll be recognized at the museum on our upcoming trip. She worked as a welder in the shipyards in California during the war. She is still a spitfire! Thanks to everyone who helped us get Ms. Leigh and a caretaker to the museum before health problems prevented her from ever attending at all. This is the first time since completing her interview she's felt well enough to make the trip. In all likelihood, this will be her last trip. Check out her sharing her story about the Great Depression. Check out our SM to see how she was honored on the trip.

Joseph Garon

Valor's Voice had the honor or capturing Mr. Garon's story in the summer of '25. He's a Pacific theater veteran with a very unique story that we'll share in 2026. Honestly, we couldn't believe he was North of 100  years old and in the great shape he was in. (Not to mention that great head of hair) Donate below to help the cost of the trip.
